Prabhas: The Unstoppable Pan-India Phenomenon watched, loved, and celebrated across India.

Nobody ever thought one day someone from the south would overtake Rajnikant in terms of craze , aura and box office but Prabhas did that even in a short period of time. Currently he has no belt of competition but only Ranbir kapoor’s lineup could give him a toss otherwise even in the south , no one dares to touch him in at least for the upcoming 10 years. Pretentiously he has got a fanbase like Khan’s and kumar  in Bollywood leaving a distinct of his south fandom aside .

Prabhas is celebrating his 46th birthday today. Born Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju on October 23, 1979, in Chennai, India. Prabhas was born into a Telugu film family with his father being a producer and his uncle krishnam Raju, a renowned actor.

Prabhas made his acting debut in 2002 with the film Eeswar. However, it was his role in the 2004 film Varsham that brought him recognition and commercial success. He later collaborated with S. S. Rajamouli on Chatrapathi, followed by the action film Billa and the romantic drama Darling, which cemented his place in the South Indian film industry.

He is a predominant household name in telegu cinema and carries a synonymic name with Pan-India stardom. Bahubali broadcasted his audience more in North where people enthusiastically enjoyed his Hindi dubbed movie in set max and star gold .

Bahubali localised him in everyone’s tip of tongue. It felt like he was born to play that role.  People whispered about his body and his performance which immortalized him forever in the hearts of every cinema lover. Bahubali was something that synonyms with success that people lost the track of rebel star and went with the title as Bahubali’s star.

Bahubali followed up with Sahoo , a big budget action thriller film bagging Shraddha kapoor and T-series. The film failed at the box office in south  but in hind,  the first day gulped numbers, astonishing everyone. Even renowned Bollywood heroes were struggling for those numbers at that time. Hence, Prabhas proved Bahubali was not just a fluke , he is on the verge of soaring up higher.

Prabhas reached the peak of his stardom again with Salaar.

With Adipurush he earned over 400CR worldwide and proved he only needs good films. A good film came with Neel’s Salaar.
Salaar was released alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Salaar won the box-office clash against Shah Rukh Khan, even though Shah Rukh gave two all-time grosser that year.
Salaar secured the highest opening day worldwide for an Indian film in 2023, a remarkable feat that underscored the immense loyalty and craze for Prabhas among his fans.
Salaar did reasonably well at the box office then came Kalki & showed again that with good film Prabhas can do wonders at the box office with Superhit tag in hindi and more than 1000cr WW.

Upcoming projects:

Prabhas is tackling every genre action like Spirit, masala like Salaar, mythological like Kalki, and horror like Raja Sahab. He also has another film called Fauzi. He’s shown his range as a star and isn’t limited to one type of film. Prabhas’s lineup is what many have dreamed of, with each film having the potential to gross 1000 crore worldwide. He is capable of a lot more than what you see.
Hopefully he will work on his fitness, and his Hindi dialogue delivery will improve. That’s the only thing he needs to work on.
