Ranveer Singh’s much-talked-about action spectacle Dhurandar is fast becoming a production headache. What was once mapped out as a 130 day schedule has ballooned into an exhausting 180-day slog with the finish line still nowhere in sight.
Sources say constant reshoots and dissatisfaction with earlier material are the main culprits. The director and creative team have reportedly struggled to pin down the tone and execution of major action set pieces, leading to costly re-filming.
The damage? A jaw-dropping budget surge from ₹300 crore to ₹350 crore, and that’s before factoring in P&A costs. Frustration is mounting on set, with crew members privately calling the project “bleeding money without a clear vision”
Dhurandar Delayed Again and Don 3’s Future Hangs in the Balance.
Initially aiming for a 5th December 2025 release, Dhurandar will now arrive sometime in the first quarter of 2026 pushing Don 3 into yet another delay after several previous setbacks.
